Royal Palace

June 25, 2007. This place is like a miniature version of the Grand Palace in Thailand. The entrance fee is $3US/person and if you wish to take photos you have to pay an extra $2. I don't think anybody paid for their photos, though. Even some locals there had to argue to save themselves from paying the photo fee. The other attraction there, the Silver Pagoda was a little difficult to find because nothing on the structure is silver. The name is due to the silver tiles on the floor inside, but these were mostly covered by a carpet. Inside there is an emerald Buddha and other small Buddha figures.
