March 23, 2006. This trip is a part of the english teacher's orientation. We went on a 10-minute ferry ride to Seokmo Island and visited the Bomunsa Temple. On our way to the temple, we passed by a small market where the vendors greet tourists with free nuts. Some areas in the temple were off limits to visitors at that time... I didn't know. I got yelled at for banging the drum at one of the structure.
Make sure you go up the 419 stairs to see the stone wall buddha... there's no yelling allowed up there.
