August 13, 2006. Jeongbang Falls is in Seogwipo City, the southern part of the island. We went here after our hike to Sunrise Peak. We took the bus for about 45mins. After having lunch at a kimbap (Korean sushi... kinda) place, the owner allowed us to leave our packs there. As soon as we left, it started raining really hard. God I hate rain. The falls were supposed to be nice but this time they were muddy. Betcha it was the freakin rain.
When we arrive in the area, we first went to a small park and a museum of some sort. We watched a cartoon there about a guy who carved some Chinese characters on a rock below the falls.
We picked up our packs soon after. We then checked-in at a minbak to get some rest, and to get ready for our hike in Hallasan National Park.
