February 2. We took a winter walk back at the Seoul Grand Park Zoo. Nothing has changed here since the last time we visited this park other than the lack of visitors... and the "summer" animals being locked-up in small rooms. Poor creatures. Not really a good sight for animal lovers, especially the hippo situation.
Something we did new was a visit to the Dolphin Show. It was quite entertaining. They choreographed their dance to the music... I mean the trainers.
Entrance fee to this show is separate from the Park's fee.

February 17-19. This is a 3-day weekend celebration of the Korean Lunar New Year (Seollal). One of the busiest holidays here in South Korea. People leave the main cities to visit their relatives in their home town (away from Seoul). Highways would turn into garages and Seoul would be empty... well, less people. We took advantage of this festival and we spent 3 days in Seoul. We first went to Seoul National Museum for a musical performance and a Korean movie, then we went to Namsangol Hanok Village on the second day. For the third and last day, we went to Unhyungung Palace to witness a Shamanistic Ritual.

February 28. We had been meaning to take another hiking trip but we just always ended-up laying back and watching tv instead. This day, we finally got up and we took another trip to Bukhansan National Park. We ascended once again the summit for an awesome view of the Bukhansan Range. This day was a fine clear day. No cloud and we were above the smog of Seoul.
