February 19, 2007. For this final day of Lunar (Seollal) New Year, We visited the Unhyungung Palace to witness the Shamanistic Ritual. There were not a lot of folks here compared to other sites. Some guy was even advertising this event outside of the palace to get more people to participate.
The ritual was a different experience. The Shaman did quite a performance on the stage, then she went down to the crowd and performed her healing power with a few spectators.
Like the other places holding this festival, this palace also had traditional games and other performance as well.
