 Oastler Lake Provincial Park

Oastler Lake Provincial Park is close to hwy 69, and also very close to Parry Sound.

This park has no hiking trails but you could settle here for a few days and give yourself a chance to explore the beautiful beach and the rocky shorelines.
I also recommend that you visit the neighboring Massasauga Provincial Park and do a little island hopping with your canoe.
 Presqu'ile Provincial Park

We took a day trip to Presqu'ile Provincial Park, located south of 401 on Brighton. This bird lover's paradise offers interpretive hiking trails, beautiful beaches and huge picnic areas.
The Lighthouse Trail offers an interpretive center and also a view of one of the oldest operating lighthouse of Lake Ontario.

 Quetico Provincial Park

Quetico Provincial Park is another wilderness park of Ontario, located about 1h15m west of Thunder Bay. The only car access to this park is through Dawson Trail on hwy 11.
We visited this park as part of our road trip to Alberta. It was winter and the weather was not that cooperative.
 Rainbow Falls Provincial Park

A visit to Rainbow Falls Provincial Park was another part of our road trip to Alberta. It is located on Trans Canada Hwy 17, about 45 minutes west of Marathon on Lake Superior.
 Sandbanks Provincial Park

Sandbanks Provincial Park is located south of Belleville, off of hwy 62/33.
We ventured down to the Dunes day use area to get a glimps of what Sandbanks is most famous for... the dunes.
Of course being called Sandbanks, the sandy beaches are "clean", shallow and huge, making it ideal for family outings.
