Thai Binh Hotel, Hue

Features: Double fan room, a/c ready, with fridge, cable tv and own bathroom.
They also offer tours, free use of internet, and they also serve food. Although, their food is often bought from the restaurants outside of the hotel. So might as well get your food directly outside. It would save you a few Dongs.

Pho Hoi 1 Hotel, Hoi An

Rate: Normally, this hotel charges $7US but the lady offered it to us for $6US. As I walked away with a sad face (like I usually do), she called me to come back (like they usually do) and gave it to me for $5US or 81,000Dong per night.
Features: Double fan room, with own bathroom.

Anh Dao Room For Rent, Saigon (not recommended)

Features: On 6th floor with low headroom stairs, tiny room, tiny bathroom, two single beds, refused-to-be-replaced broken fan, and ants.
Close To: Bars, restaurants, convenience stores, and other (a lot better) guesthouses.
